<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a start control device for a motor four-wheel drive vehicle capable of ensuring driving force of an electric motor, i.e., a driving source of driven wheels at starting even if a transmission having a clutch and a transmission mechanism are adopted between an engine and main driving wheels. <P>SOLUTION: In the motor four-wheel drive vehicle, the main driving wheels are driven by the engine, the driven wheels are driven by the electric motor and the electric motor is driven by electric energy generated by the engine. The transmission having the clutch and the transmission mechanism is interposed between the engine and the main driving wheels. When the main driving wheels and the driven wheels are driven to start, a start-time clutch control means for controlling the clutch between the engine and the transmission mechanism at the starting area is provided so as to promote raising of revolution speed of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
