<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device, wherein no direct impact is applied on a joint portion of a filter case even when there is interference with a road surface during travel on a rough road. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device comprises the filter case 7 mounted on the midway of an exhaust pipe 4 and divided into three parts, a front part 12, a middle part 13 and a rear part 14 which are detachably fastened to one another via flanges 12a, 13a, 14a with bolts 15 and nuts 16, and a particulate filter 6 internally fitted and mounted on the middle part 13 of the filter case 7. An outer diameter D1 of the joint portion formed by the flanges 12a, 13a, 14a is relatively smaller than an outer diameter D2 of the filter case 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
