EXTRA LENGTH PROCESSING STRUCTURE FOR OPTICAL CORD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extra length processing structure for optical cords capable of realizing a work for wiring and connecting the extra length components of a number of the optical cords withdrawn into a box-like casing with good alignment.

SOLUTION: An optical module unit 3 in an optical transmission apparatus 1 equipped with the optical module unit having receptacles 20 for freely attachably and detachably connecting the optical connectors at the tips of the respective optical cords introduced from an introducing port 15 of the box-like casing 2 is equipped with the receptacles of respectively front and rear two groups each on opposite left and right side faces, and is so constituted that the optical cords 11 connected to the receptacle groups 20LB in the rear part on the left side of the main body of the optical module unit 3 or/and connected to the receptacle 20 RF groups in the front part on the right side are subjected to right-hand processing and the optical cords 11 connected to the receptacle 20 LF groups in the front part on the left side or/and to receptacle groups 20RB in the rear part on the right side are subjected to left-hand processing.
