PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe connection sleeve which is prevented from flying when a wire rope is broken at a part of the connection sleeve caused by the occurrence of abnormal force during working in a diamond wire saw used for cutting a stone material and concrete or the like, and also to provide a safe wire saw connected by the connection sleeve. SOLUTION: The connection sleeve for the diamond wire saw is characterized in that it has a dividing means at its nearly central part. The connection sleeve has the dividing means at the nearly central part in the wire saw in which both end parts of the wire rope are inserted to the connection sleeve in an opposing state from both lateral sides and connected in an endless state by the caulking of the connection sleeve.
