PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a processing solution from dripping from the rear end of a photosensitive medium. SOLUTION: A detection sensor 29 is disposed on the upstream of a coating nozzle 23 in the direction of transport of a film 2. An image rear end detection section 71 detects the time when the rear end of a final image reaches a position opposite to the coating nozzle 23 on the basis of the time when the detection sensor 29 detects the rear end of the film 2. A motor control section 72 controls a motor 26 so that a developing solution is discharged from the coating nozzle 23 until the rear end of the final image reaches the position opposite to the coating nozzle 23, and immediately after that, the motor control section 72 controls the motor 26 so that the developing solution near the head of the coating nozzle 23 is sucked into the coating nozzle 23.
