PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify designing to suppress the generation of nonuniformity of brightness in a light emitting part, which becomes a matter of concern in answering various display layouts, and to effectively utilize a light emitting region of an organic EL element. SOLUTION: An organic EL panel 1 in which, on an element substrate 2, disposed is the organic EL element 3 composed of an organic layer 6 containing at least a light emitting layer interposed between a transparent electrode 4 and a rear electrode 7, and a sealing plate 8 covering the organic EL element 3 is jointed to the element substrate 2, is equipped with contacts 10a which are electrically connected with the electrodes 4 and 7, and electrode terminals (terminals) 10 leading outward parts of the contacts 10a extending from joint parts of the sealing plate 8 and the element substrate 2.
