PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image management system and an image management program for easily and quickly finding out original images from edited images. SOLUTION: The system comprises a storage means 11, 12 making image data correspond to attribute data to store it; an image display means 13 displaying the image data and the attribute data stored in the storage means 11, 12 on a screen; image editing means 15, 16 editing images displayed on the screen and acquires attribute data of the edited images; and a link information adding means 17 adding link information indicating at least a relation regarding editing-free images to the attribute data of the edited images and storing the edited images into the storage means 11, 12 together with the image data.
