PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper control system for a vehicle and its control method for properly controlling the wiper speed in accordance with the detected amount of rainwater. SOLUTION: A raindrop sensing type wiper device for the vehicle and its control method comprise a plurality of switches constituted to conduct electricity by raindrops, a raindrop sensing part outputs two different signals depending on whether the switches conduct electricity or not, a multiplexer constituted to receive signals from respective switches and repeating and executing a process for selecting one of the received signals and a process for outputting the selected signal, a count register counting the number of signals corresponding to a case where the switches conduct electricity among the signals received from the multiplexer and calculating a count value, and a wiper control unit receiving the count value from the count register and controlling the wiper speed based on the received count value.
