AIR CONDITIONER WITH RADIANT HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a comfortable air conditioning by realizing a heat pump heating capable of saving energy and a radiant heating independent from hot air, and preventing a malodor in cooling operation. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a light emitting source 14 for emitting infrared ray and visible light and a reflecting means 16 for reflecting the infrared ray and visible light from the light emitting source 14 toward the outlet direction of the wind circuit 20 of an indoor unit 2, which are housed in a light emitting source housing part 13 formed in the indoor unit 2. In this air conditioner, a barrier plate 22 which transmits the infrared ray and transmits the visible light with attenuation is formed between the housing part 13 and the wind circuit 20 to radiate the infrared ray from the outlet port 8 of the wind circuit 20.
