PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation body for an opening/closing device capable of preventing the opening/closing body from being incorrectly operated by being forcibly opened by a malicious intent. SOLUTION: The operation body is provided with a case body 10 having an opening 10a at the surface, a cover member 50 making an opening part 10a openable/closable, a lock structure making the cover member 50 unopenable in the closed state, and an operation switch 20 arranged in the more inside of the case body 10 than the case member 50. In the operation body for the opening/closing body making the control motion of the opening/closing body possible by the operation of the operation switch 20, the cover member 50 has a feature that a part thereof or substantially the whole body thereof is constituted of a multi-layer structure formed of a plurality of hard members.
