SECURE PAPER COMPRISING A FIBROUS LAYER AND AN ELECTRONIC CHIP

The invention relates to secure paper (1). The inventive paper is characterised in that it comprises at least one fibrous layer (2) and at least one electronic chip (3) which is built into said fibrous layer (2). The aforementioned chip (3) comprises a memory element containing at least one first stored key which can be used to authenticate the secure paper. Moreover, said chip is designed to alter, e.g. erase, the first key in the event of an attempted forced access to the chip, such as to render impossible the subsequent authentication of the secure paper (1).
