A steel plate impervious wall with excellent imperviousness and workability, a joint part protective body, and a method of constructing the steel plate impervious wall, the steel plate impervious wall (1) formed by inserting sheet piles (2) in an original ground (7), wherein the sheet piles (2) are formed of a plastic material, both end parts of each of the sheet piles (2) are formed in generally cylindrical shapes to form joint parts (22), the inner diameter of one joint part (22) of the joint parts (22) is formed larger than the outer diameter of the other joint part (22) to form a small diameter joint part (222) and a large diameter joint part (221), and one or a plurality of curved parts (23) in curved shapes in a cross section formed by cutting the sheet pile (2) vertically relative to the depth direction thereof are formed in the pile (2), whereby the small diameter joint part (222) of the sheet pile (2) installed adjacent to the large diameter joint part (221) of the sheet pile (2) can be inserted into the large diameter joint part (221) through a vertically extending slit (223) formed at the large diameter joint part (221).
