<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white light emitting device excellent in emitting characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: Two kinds of fluorescent materials are exited by a blue or bluish green light emitting diode whose wavelength range is 450 to 500 nm, then, fluorescent materials produces yellow fluorescence of a dominant wavelength 520 to 580 nm and vivid red fluorescence of dominant wavelength 580 to 640 nm respectively, and a white light emitting device excellent in emitting characteristics is attained by packaging the fluorescent materials and a package material at a predetermined mixing rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
