CERAMIC CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR MAINTAINING FRESHNESS OF GLAZE, PLANT AND FOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freshness maintaining method capable of maintaining freshness of plant for a long time even when the frequency of changing water is reduced by suppressing generation of organic matters in water with the plant immersed therein.

SOLUTION: A ceramic container 1 is formed of a bottom wall 2 and a side wall 3 continuous to the bottom wall 2, and has a glaze layer 5 with germanium particles 6 dispersed therein on at least inner sides of the bottom wall 2 and the side wall 3. Water is stored inside the ceramic container, and a part of the structure of the plant is immersed in water.
