<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input information from the outside only to a communication module. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 12 performs various processes that can be performed by information equipment 100. The communication module 16 performs communication processing conforming an EV-DO system and a cdma20001x system. A connection terminal 10 is a coupling connector of an asynchronous serial communication signal line, and subscriber information is written into it. A switching part 14 can change over the CPU 12 and the communication module 16 or the connection terminal 10 and the communication module 16. A switch 18 has a function for permitting a user to change over an object of connection of the switching part 14. A display part 22 mainly displays the processing result of the CPU 12.
