<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail with a simple structure advantageous to manufacture, by surely selecting an angle, by eliminating dislocation when installed at a desired angle in its angle adjusting part, in the handrail suitably arranged on a slope. <P>SOLUTION: This handrail is constituted so that an angle between a column 2 and an installation surface is adjusted by the angle adjusting part 3. The angle adjusting part 3 is a joint having at least two members of a convex surface constituting member having a cross-sectional view circular arc-shaped convex curved surface on an outer peripheral surface, and a concave surface constituting member having a cross-sectional view circular arc-shaped concave curved surface on an inner peripheral surface. Both mutual constituting members are installed by a fastener such as a bolt, by making the concave curved surface correspond to the convex curved surface of both constituting members. A groove extending in the direction for crossing the peripheral direction of a circular arc presented by itself, is arranged in a plurality in the peripheral direction in any one of the convex curved surface and the concave curved surface of the convex surface constituting member and the concave surface constituting member.
