<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude a risk that mounting parts 71 to 74 and the like to a body 25a will degrade the design of a front panel or the like of an indoor unit 2 of an air conditioner 1. <P>SOLUTION: The indoor unit 2 of the air conditioner comprises the body 25a, the front panel 26a and the mounting parts 71, 72 or 73. The front panel 26a is transparent and is positioned in front of the body 25a. The front panel 26a is provided on a back face 261 with a design layer 27a. The mounting parts 71, 72 or 73 are for mounting the front panel 26a in front of the body 25a.
