PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easily and quickly changing a running schedule route already set so as to avoid a section becoming the forwarding destination of the vehicle when the section becoming the forwarding destination of the vehicle on a road along a set running schedule route becomes in special circumferences that running of the vehicle should be avoided. SOLUTION: A navigation system for vehicles includes an operation controller that; when the section becoming the forwarding destination of the vehicle on the road along the running schedule route is in the special circumstances, the running schedule route 44 image-displayed with a liquid crystal picture display panel 22 is displayed corresponding to the special circumstances in a section 45 corresponding to the road in the special circumstances. Further, when contact operation on a section 45 corresponding to a part of the running schedule route displayed corresponding to the special circumstances in a contact operation panel 23 is done, resetting of the running schedule route changing the set running schedule route to the route not containing the part corresponding to the road in the special circumstances, according to the operation output in the contact operation panel section 23.
