PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a decurl device. SOLUTION: The decurl roller 22 of this decurl device 20 is formed to be axially rotatable to correct the curl of printing paper 24 extracted from a paper roll holder 21b, energized by a tension spring 23b installed across near a paper roll shaft 21a and a roller shaft 22a so as to be always brought into contact with the cylindrical surface of a roll of paper wrapped around in a cylindrical shape, and moved to approach the paper roll shaft 21a as the residual amount of the paper roll 22 is reduced. Also, the decurl roller 22 is linearly moved to a position eccentric from the paper roll shaft 21a by a guide rail 23c installed on a support member 23a as the residual amount of the paper roll 21 is reduced so that the area of contact between the printing paper 24 and the decurl roller 22 and a contact angle PQR are increased.
