PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that a user has to go to the arrangement place of facsimile (FAX) equipment each time since the user of an outer device needs to operate the FAX equipment itself for display in order to recognize a communication result or needs to print the result, when the FAX equipment is connected by LAN to the outer device such as a personal computer (PC) and has a kind of function as a FAX server. SOLUTION: Communication history information of the FAX equipment 1 is registered in a communication history table 13T, read out, and outputted after conversion into a data form to be visually displayed by the outer PCs 2 receiving the communication history information, e.g., HTML contents, by WWW server software.
