PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording reserving device capable of executing a video recording operation in the case of a video recordable state without making a user check whether to be recordable even in a video recording reservation in which a video recording time zone overlaps on that of other video recording reservation, a video recording reserving method, a program and a recording medium. SOLUTION: This video recording reserving device is provided with a registering means for comparing the time zone of an inputted video recording reservation with that of a registered video recording reservation, registering the inputted video recording reservation as real registration (1) when the time zone of the video recording reservation does not overlap on that of the registered video recording reservation and registering the inputted video recording reservation as temporary registration (2) when the time zone of the video recording reservation overlaps on that of the registered video recording reservation, a changing means for changing the temporarily registered video recording reservation to real registration when the time zone of the temporarily registered video recording reservation does not overlap on any time zones of video recording reservations registered as real registration, and a video recording means for executing video recording about the video recording reservation registered as real registration and does not execute video recording about the temporarily registered video recording reservation.
