PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of data lines used for transmission by multiplexing parallel digital data in the direction of a time axis. SOLUTION: On the side of an output circuit of a digital data signal, parallel digital data signals S0 and S1 are encoded. A plurality of encoded pieces of digital data ENa to ENc are sampled by a plurality of delay clocks related with a clock CK. A plurality of sampled pieces of digital data SSa to SSc are multiplexed in the direction of the time axis of the clock CK to obtain a digital data signal DO being an output signal. Since the signal DO is one, only one data line is required for transmitting the digital data signal DO, and thereby the number of the data lines is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
