PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire engine on-vehicle unit of low cost with excellent mobility allowing a fire engine to be safely and rapidly lowered and the lowered fire engine to move as it is in a narrow alley or the like by a truck. SOLUTION: In this fire engine on-vehicle unit 1, the truck 3 with two wheels 11, to which the fire engine 2 is fixed, is firmly fixed to a rear loading section 4a of a fire engine carrier vehicle 4, and a lateral pair of base guide rails 6 are welded to the rear loading section 4a. A sliding frame 7 is mounted to the inside of the base guide rails 6 slidably in a longitudinal direction in relation to the base guide rails 6. A lifting unit constituted centering on a lifting plate 13 and a lifting base for sliding the truck 3 with the fire engine 3 fixed thereto, in the longitudinal direction in relation to the sliding frame 7 and further lifting the truck 3 vertically, is mounted on the sliding frame 7.
