PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp unit capable of easily and surely adjusting the position of an optical axis by a simple mechanism, and a projector device equipped with the lamp unit. SOLUTION: The lamp unit (2) used for the projector device has a lamp assembly equipped with a light source lamp (14), a holder member (18) supporting the lamp assembly so as to displace parallel in a prescribed axial direction, a base member (20) supporting the holder member so as to turn centering a prescribed axial line, parallel position adjusting means (32 and 40) constituted to adjust the position of the lamp assembly in the prescribed axial direction from an opposite side to the holder member supporting surface of the base member, and a turning position adjusting means (18i) constituted to adjust the turning position of the lamp assembly centering the prescribed axial line from the opposite side to the holder member supporting surface of the base member.
