摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for degree of beating of pulp for measuring the degree of beating of a pulp slurry on-line to achieve the enhancement of production efficiency and the stabilization of production, and its control device. SOLUTION: This measuring instrument for the degree of beating of pulp is constituted by providing an ultrasonic oscillator capable of oscillating ultrasonic waves of at least one kind of frequency and an ultrasonic receiver capable of receiving ultrasonic waves of at least one kind of frequency, an arithmetic unit and a display device to a straight pipe for transporting the pulp slurry. The degree of beating of pulp is operated from at least one kind of ultrasonic attenuation ratio, which is obtained by measuring the ultrasonic attenuation ratio in the pulp slurry with respect to at least one kind of frequency using the ultrasonic oscillator and ultrasonic receiver installed on the straight pipe of the pulp slurry, by the arithmetic unit.
