PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine capable of reducing overall power consumption while securing sufficient airtightness for each merchandise compartment. SOLUTION: The vending machine has a merchandise storage room 30 whose inner surface is formed by heat insulating members 31a-31e disposed on the interior wall surface of a body cabinet 10 having an opening in its front. The merchandise storage room 30 is partitioned by heat insulating partition boards 41, 42 to provide a plurality of merchandise compartments 33a, 33b, 33c in a side-by-side arrangement in which to store merchandise kept in a predetermined temperature condition.
