PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighter formed with a relatively little number of working processes. SOLUTION: The lighter comprises a body 1 having a fuel containing space, a means 34 for guiding fuel in the fuel containing space to the outside, and fuel igniters 39-42 for igniting the fuel guided to the outside. The body 1 comprises the fuel containing space 2 extending through the body in one direction z, a space 7 for installation of fuel igniters extending through the body in the direction z, and an open space 8 extending through the body in the direction x, which is opened out of the body and continued to the fuel igniter housing space 7 in a direction y or x crossing to the direction z. The lighter further comprises an opening and closing lid 47. The body 1 further includes a space 4 for installation of the opening and closing holding mechanism of the opening and closing lid 47, which extends through the body in the direction x, and an open space 5 extending through the body in the direction z, which is opened out of the body and continued to the space for installation of the opening and closing holding mechanism in the direction y or x crossing to the direction z.
