Energy generating system from leverage and rotation uses falling weights yielding torque necessary for rotary motion, after rotor inertia has been overcome by an external drive. Several weights may be used for rotor motion. Typically telescopic linkage permits different weights to (dis)engage from rotation axis, together with other machine elements. Liquids may also be used to generate torque by their weight, as can magnetic and electric fields.
