A water saving device using voice recognition is provided to secure convenience and safety and to improve serviceability, by enabling control of supply of water according a man's voice command within a predetermined distance by a voice recognition sensor. A water saving device using voice recognition comprises a voice input part(110) comprising a small-sized microphone converting a user's voice command into an electric signal; a voice recognition device part(120) comprising a speaker-independent type voice recognition microchip capable of recognizing the voice command input through the voice input part; an opening and closing device(130) installed to the inside of a water saving device body(100') to open and close a water inlet(101) and a water outlet(102) according to the recognized command; a DC(Direct Current) power supply part(140) comprising a battery supplying direct-current power to each part; and a water pressure-detecting part(150) having switching movement by rebounding action by water pressure in the water inlet side to make power supplied to each part from the DC power supply part just during inflow of water.
