<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile fuel supply device for reducing electric power loss while suppressing wasteful discharge from a fuel pump. <P>SOLUTION: The automobile fuel supply device comprises a fuel pump 1 for forcibly feeding fuel from a fuel tank 2 to a fuel injection valve 4, a fuel pressure regulator 7 connected to a fuel pipe 3 for controlling fuel pressure in the fuel pipe to be preset controlled pressure, a pressure detector 22 for measuring the fuel pressure in the fuel pipe, and a pump control means 13a for driving the fuel pump at a selective discharge amount by setting a DUTY drive signal to be input to a fuel pump control device 13c as a preset DUTY to suppress or stop the drive of the fuel pump when the output of the pressure detector is at first set pressure P1 and by setting the DUTY drive signal to be input to the fuel pump control device corresponding to a required fuel discharge amount when the output of the pressure detector is at second set pressure P2 lower than the P1 and the preset controlled pressure by the fuel pressure regulator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
