<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can output stable image by suppressing nonuniform loop formed in media S between a transfer device 105 and a fixing device 102, and thereby preventing problems, such as wrinkling of the media S and traces of rubbing of the image. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus, provided with driving sources for the transfer device 105, the fixing device 102, a both-side unit 114 and a paper discharge option 601 respectively and independently performs the control to create the loop in the media S between the transfer device 105 and the fixing device 102 by slowing down the speed for fixing and conveying, until the medium S arrives at the both-side unit 114 or at the paper discharge option 601 from the fixing device 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
