<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus wherein function selecting keys of functional list screens amounting to a vast number along with the multifunctionalization of the image forming apparatus can be switched according to a user's taste and a level of his/her skill during the display of this functional list. <P>SOLUTION: In terms of the functional list screen, two kinds of modes, that is, a normal display mode, wherein all the function selecting keys are arranged, and a simple display mode, wherein only the frequently-used function selecting keys are arranged, are alternatively switched, so that a function can be selected in the normal display mode when a complicated functional setting is made, and can be selected in the simple display mode when only the simple functional setting is made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
