1,147,314. Recreational device. R. T. BENNETT and S. R. TOZER. 3 April, 1968 [27 Jan., 1968], No. 4371/68. Heading A6M. A recreational device consists of a substantially spherical 'body 1 which either is inherently resilient or can be rendered resilient, and a flexible handle 2 comprising two separate elongated handle portions 3 and 4 which are integral with the body 1 and each of which has two ends, of which one end is free and of which the other end is connected directly to the body, said body and said handle being such as to permit a person to sit astride the body and to grasp the handle and thus seated on said device, to bounce on the ground thereon. The two handle portions 3 and 4 may be substantially rectilinear, but bent toward each other when connected by a bar of the type shown in Fig. 3 which is such as to form an interferencefit on the free ends of the handle portions. The body is preferably made of rotational moulding in a plastics material and is inflatable, inflating means being provided at 6 between the two handle portions 3 and 4. |
