PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system which is small, easy in handling and has excellent broadband characteristics. SOLUTION: The antenna system is provided with: a director 10 comprising a linear dipole antenna located at one end of a boom 20 for acting like a length of 0.35 to 0.65 wavelength for a first reception band and acting like a length of 0.35 to 0.65 wavelength for a second reception band lower than the first reception band; and a radiator 2 comprising a folding dipole antenna located at a position apart from the director at an interval of 0.2 to 0.3 wavelength with respect to a reception frequency in succession to the linear dipole antenna and the director 10 and acting like a length of 0.35 to 0.65 wavelength for the first reception band and acting like a length of 0.35 to 0.65 wavelength for the second reception band lower than the first reception band; and a fitting means 21 to a structure located at the other end of the boom.
