PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that separated gas components are concentrated to pin holes in a barrier film, organic EL elements corresponding to the pinholes are deteriorated, and the EL elements cease light emissions. SOLUTION: In a colored substrate for organic EL sequentially having at least a color filter layer, a transparent protective layer, a transparent barrier layer, and a transparent electrode layer on a transparent substrate, the pin holes are formed in a specified area in the barrier layer.
