PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a gap and to improve seal hardness, while preventing air bubbles from remaining. SOLUTION: When the panel structure is gradually pressurized to return to atmospheric pressure, while a panel structure is immersed in a liquid crystal, the liquid crystal is sucked into the inside of a liquid crystal cell from an injection port. In this case, the air bubbles P are driven into an air bubble reservoir 50 via a gap between a second sealing material 40 and a counter substrate 20. When the pressure is gradually increased, the distanceΔd of the gap is gradually reduced, and the second sealing material 40 and the counter substrate 20 are brought into contact with each other and the air bubbles P are confined in the air bubble reservoir 50.
