PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction cell with superior reliability in which few initial obstacles against detections (such as bubble adhesion) exist, and to provide a biochemical and/or an immunological automatic analysis apparatus on which the reaction cell is mounted. SOLUTION: In the reaction cell made of a synthetic resin which contains a biological sample and a reagent, brings the biological sample and the reagent to perform a chemical and/or immunological reaction, and measures a process of the reaction and/or a result of a state at a prescribed timing by using an optical means, the critical surface tension of the inner wall surface of the reaction cell with which the biological sample, the reagent and a reaction material of the biological sample and the reagent come into contact, is not less than 25.0 mN/m, or the contact angle between the inner wall of the reaction cell and the solvent of reaction solution is not more than 60 degrees.
