PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange an electrical equipment unit in a machine room without deteriorating a maintenance property of refrigerant circuit constituting part arranged in the machine room even when the electrical part unit is enlarged, in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner having such a structure that inside of an approximately rectangular box-shaped casing is divided into a blower room and a machine room by a partition plate extending in a vertical direction. SOLUTION: This electrical part equipment unit 5 of an outdoor unit 1 has such a structure that inside of a unit casing 2 is divided into a blower room S1and a machine room S2by a partition plate 25 extending vertically, and is equipped with an upper electrical part equipment unit 51 and a lower electrical part equipment unit 52 arranged in the machine room S2. At least one part of the lower electrical part equipment unit 52 can move outside the machine room from the machine room S2under a condition that the upper electrical part equipment unit 51 is arranged in the machine room S2.
