PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dipper for ground bait, capable of long-throwing the ground bait without spreading on throwing the ground bait by a fishing person. SOLUTION: This dipper 10 is equipped with a cup 11 and a handle part 12. The cup 11 has a bait-housing part 13. The inside wall surface 14 of the bait-housing part 13 is constituted by a recessed surface having an opening end 15. In the inside wall surface 14, a protruding part 19 protruding at the inside of the bait-housing part 13 is installed. The protruding part 19 is formed at the handle part 12 side from an approximately central part of the inside wall surface. At the tip end part 21 of the protruding part 19, a communicating hole 23 for communicating to the outside of the cup 11 is formed. The protruding part is formed as a fan shape.
