PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the uniform heating of a food from the surface to the inner part at high speed. SOLUTION: This cooker comprises a heating control means 13 for controlling a high frequency heating means 3 and a steam heating means 4 according to the temperatures detected by an infrared temperature sensor 8 and an internal temperature sensor 9. The heating control means comprises a first heating control part 14 for heating the food by the high frequency heating means from the initial stage of heating start, a second heating control part 15 for heating the food by the steam heating means from the middle of heating, and a switching part 16 for switching the first heating control part to the second heating control part according to the temperature detected by the infrared temperature sensor. The second heating control part controls the steam heating means so that the temperature detected by the internal temperature sensor keeps a predetermined finish temperature. According to this structure, the food can be heated to the predetermined finish temperature uniformly from the surface to the inner part, and since the food inner part is heated by high frequency in the initial stage of heating start, the heating can be completed at high speed.
