The invention relates to a device for detecting the removal of a product from a packing system (1) by an electronic unit. The products (20) are arranged in individual bags (2a to 2g) which are sealed by means of a sealing film (5) that can be perforated so as to remove a product (20) from a bag (2a to 2g). The inventive device is configured as a combination of layers (50) comprising at least one supporting plate (10) and a coating layer (6) which is applied thereto. Said combination of layers (50) is connected to the packing system (1) in such a way that the coating layer (6) faces the sealing film (5). The coating layer (6) is provided with individual strip conductors (7a' to 7g'), each of which runs across an area that is assigned to a bag (2a to 2g) and is electrically interrupted when a product (20) is removed from the respective bag (2a to 2g). The supporting plate (10) comprises openings (13a to 13g), each of which is assigned to a bag (2a to 2g). A product (20) which is removed from a bag (2a to 2g) is guided through the respective opening (13a to 13g).
