<p>Most of the Christmas tree stands already on the market try to clamp the tree trunk in by applying the required forces on to the outer surface. Difficulties can occur in particular in the case of an irregularly shaped tree or an extremely smooth surface. The new design of a stand is assembled of two crosswise positioned horizontal bars (3), each provided with a height adjustable leg (2) at both outer ends, and a strong spike (1) protruding vertically from the arrangement. A bore is prepared in the lower end of the tree trunk with a drill and the spike (1) inserted.</p> |
