<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor that comprises a heat sink which is easily manufactured at a relatively low cost for efficient cooling. <P>SOLUTION: Heat sink 31 has a body part 32 and an upper exposed part 33 formed integrally. The body part 32 is provided with a body part cooling fin 35 while the upper exposed part 33 is provided with an upper cooling fin 38 on a step part 34, by a plurality of numbers. These are formed along the releasing direction in die casting, while the rear side of the upper exposed part 33 is provided with a lightening part 39, for reduced weight, and improved cooling performance, resulting in a brushless motor that uses a low-cost and light-weight heat sink which is easily manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
