ELECTRONIC MEDIATOR, ELECTRONIC MEDIATOR FIXATION ELECTRODE, AND BIOFUEL CELL USING THIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high function mediator being excellent in safety and cost and smoothly promoting movement of electrons between an electrode and a biocatalysis, and also to provide an electrode and a cell which fixates sufficient amount of such mediator molecules effectively and firmly.

SOLUTION: A mediator for mediating movement of electrons between enzyme and an electrode consists of dielectric of quinone molecule, specially VK3derivative. This mediator is applied for an electrode and a biofuel cell.
