PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch for a press die which is hardly damaged on a head of the punch when punching holes in a workpiece, in the punch for a press die having a collar portion on the head. SOLUTION: The punch 1 for a press die has a collar portion 3 on the head 2 of the punch, a shank 4 with a diameter smaller than the collar portion 3 is formed together with the collar portion 3, an edge 5 is formed together with the tip of the shank 4, and a connecting section 6 between the collar portion 3 and the shank 4 has a step of 1.5 mm. The connecting section 6 between the collar portion 3 and the shank 4 is formed into a round shape with a radius of 1.0 mm, and the head 2 is annealed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
