PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming the thin film of microcapsulated paint by which shedding effect of scent can be maintained over a long period of time when the microcapsulated paint is thinly applied onto an object to be coated. SOLUTION: In this method, the microcapsulated paint is applied onto the surface of the object to be coated to form the coating film of film thickness being almost the same as the diameter of a scent microcapsule or being a little smaller than that. Further the microcapsulated paint is applied onto a part where the coating film is formed once or several times to form a coating film layer constituted of a plurality of coating films of the microcapsulated paint. A bed layer having high adhesion at least to the object to be coated can be formed between the surface of the object to be coated and the coating film layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
