PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an image signal which controls a selection storing process of a ringing-shaped noise component corresponding to an operation mode of a camera apparatus and eliminates the ring-shaped noise component by an optimum process corresponding to the operation mode. SOLUTION: A ringing selection storing portion 8 selects the ringing-shaped noise component from an output signal of an image pick-up tube 1 and holds it, and the selected and held ringing-shaped noise component is subtracted from the output signal of the image pick-up tube 1 by a subtractor 7 and is output from an output circuit 6. At this time, a switch monitoring portion 11 detects the operation mode switched by a switch 10, and a memory controlling portion 12 inputs a WE controlling signal to the ringing-shaped selection storing portion 8 in an attitude according to the operation mode and conducts the selection storing process of the ring-shaped noise component corresponding to the operation mode.
