PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and apparatus of an anode element for a solid electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an anode element for a solid electrolytic capacitor comprises a step of filling metal powder 5 in a cavity CA formed by a plurality of movable molds 7 disposed on a fixed mold 3, a step of expanding the cavity CA before the tip end of a lead wire 33 is embedded in the metal powder 5, a step of compression-molding the metal powder 5 by contracting the cavity CA after the tip end of the lead wire 33 is embedded in the metal powder 5 and of integrating the lead wire 33 and the metal powder 5, and a step of expanding the cavity CA to take out the compression-molding from the cavity CA.
