PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a stereoscopic image with correct perspectives by solving problems characteristic of integral photography by using a projection device which inverts perspectives. SOLUTION: Constituted is the projection device which has many gradient index rod lenses arranged in two dimensions to a lengthλ/2 while having their optical axes in parallel and also has convex lenses placed before and behind this rod lenses to invert perspectives. This projection device is combined with a photographing device for integral photography and then a stereoscopic image giving correct perspectives can be photographed. Further, a perspectives-inverted photographed image of integral photography is observed as an image with correct perspectives when viewed through this projection device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
