PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device capable of reducing manufacturing cost and securing the stability of a metal having a small work function at a manufacturing process, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: On the organic EL device at least having a light-emitting layer 60 between a positive electrode 23 and a main negative electrode 50 in opposition, an electron injection layer is formed by painting a solution of bisacetylacetonate calcium complex on the surface of the light-emitting layer 60, and the main negative electrode 50 is formed by painting a PEDOT/PSS dispersion solution on the surface of the electron injection layer 52. Further, it is preferable to form an auxiliary negative electrode by painting a dispersion solution of metal fine particles on the surface of the main negative electrode 50.
